Thought i'd try and get some new movement on here

here's an interesting question...

Who would you like to train with but have never got the chance? and why?

now i dont mean the obvious ones, Sosai, the Kancho of your organisation, Kenji Midori, Shokei Matsui etc...

someone that you might actually get the chance to with one day but have never actually had the opportunity........

lets go!.......

I'm pretty lucky so far.

I get to train with people like Shihan-cho Viccars whenever i like.

I have had the opportunity to train with Hanshi John Taylor in a small dojo class (State of origin was on that night, so there was only about 6 people in the class! lucky for me)

I just got back from the national camp and trained with no less than 5 Shihans!

Here is one though, what about a fight training class with Andy Hug?

If he's planning on coming back and conducting a fight class, i dont really wanna be around!!

but good start Budo! i was thinking more still alive though

i guess we are spoilt with who we get to train with on a daily basis down here, aswell as who we can train with at camps etc...

one person id love to train with but have never had an opportunity to as he now only lends a hand every now and then is Sensei Rowan Stephens,

it is a terrible shame that i only know the man on a personal level, but i have heard of his achievements in karate and his fighting prowess is legendary, and to be honest he scares the crap outta me!!!

Yes Brad, Sensei Rohan wouls be a good one.

Obviously i (like you) have heard a lot of stories about Sensei Rohan, but had never met him.

He had very similar (serious) knee injuries like me, and when i finally did meet him he had a good chat to me about how to look after them and keep training etc.

Very very helpful and generous.

Ahh Johnny, i see since your split from Sensei Kreese you have decided not to follow his dojo creed

"Pain does not exist in this dojo"
"Fear does not exist in this dojo"
"Defeat does not exist in the dojo"

As you may remember Sensei Kreese's philosophical credibilility went south when Miyagi tore him a new one in KK2. In any case when speaking of Waka uchi a good dose of humility and fear will get you a long way!!!

Osu Brad f**kin Cook,
Good question! I love to train with Gary ONeill!!! His bloody crazy, probably the best Kyokushin fighter i've watched on dvd!
In saying that i have been lucky enough to train with great fighters, Dean Hinch is one that comes to mind! Hanshi John Taylor, Shihan Tony Bowden, Shihan Gary Viccars, Sensei Robbie Adams and Luke Argento are of course others!
I could write down so many people here!
Cheers Winnie!

OSU ,
I would have liked to had a bit more time with hanshi taylor at the camp.
But Sempai brad you , winnie and sensai luke would be the best fighter i've trained with not to mention a few other sensai's. As a lower kyu grade i dont expect much and to me it is a great privilage to train with you all..OSU.
